Director of People Operations

We’re looking for an experienced Director of People Operations who is excited about empowering a great culture and impactful team at a fast-paced venture-backed start-up. This role is a unique combination between strategic, operational, and tactical efforts where you’ll utilize your industry expertise to define, implement, and develop people strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Culture & Strategy:

  • Work with senior leadership to create and maintain a high-performing, motivated, and impactful team aligned with our mission
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and lead efforts that bring our culture and values to life, both internally and in the community

Recruiting & Workforce Planning:

  • Partner with managers to understand and anticipate hiring and development needs to deliver business objectives
  • Use people-related data to drive better decision making and develop key metrics to measure employee happiness, performance, engagement, and retention
  • Create an incredible employee experience starting with talent acquisition, to onboarding and ongoing development, and finishing with alumni engagement

Learning & Development:

  • Build and drive scalable solutions around making our leaders better managers, growing our team’s capabilities, and driving employee retention
  • Apply your deep understanding of performance, feedback, and coaching to elevate every employee regardless of role and title to achieve their fullest potential

Performance Management & Compensation:

  • Develop and implement company-wide performance management programs that reward excellence and drives continuous, transparent feedback
  • Develop, implement and manage compensation and benefits programs and policies that are aligned with the trio - market competitiveness, organizational excellence, and employee motivation

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance as the in-house expert on all employment law and regulatory matters
  • Continually benchmark the competitiveness of all people programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 7-10 plus years of people operations experience with 4 plus years at enterprise SaaS company
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment preferred
  • BA or BS required; S/PHR or similar HR certification preferred
  • Intellectually curious and technology / data savvy
  • Outstanding communication skills with a proven track record creating solid relationships
  • Team player with the ability to work independently or partner to deliver timely and effective results

Kristy oversees the creation of Fluxx software. In her role, Kristy acts as a “Jill of all trades” by defining, designing, testing, and supporting all of Fluxx’s products.

Development Operations Manager

Colin keeps Fluxx’s software platforms up and running. He wears many hats, but spends much of his time on the company’s production workload for Amazon web services.
