The Opportunity:

We're seeking Senior People Business Partner to provide comprehensive human resources support across your designated countries, with a main focus on the Netherlands . This isn't just about maintaining; it's about building and refining HR processes that empower our rapidly expanding workforce. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our talent strategy and employee experience, serving a wide spectrum of HR functions including employee relations, compliance, and performance management. You'll support diverse teams from corporate to operations, ensuring consistent HR practices while adapting to unique business needs and driving innovative solutions in a dynamic, fast-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Country HR Expert and Advisor

Advise the broader people team on country specific requirements and closely collaborate with the global team, be the voice of your country and provide input based on local needs. Partner closely with the local leadership team and coach and advise on people related topics.

  • Ensure Compliance: Stay updated on local legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, thus minimizing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Work in partnership with the legal department as necessary and proactively address any potential legal or compliance risks in accordance with the latest changes in labor laws and regulations. Liaising with local authorities, agencies or partners on HR matters
  • Performance Management: Provide managers with essential guidance on handling performance-related matters. Develop and facilitate meaningful training programs that aim to enhance employee performance and productivity. Oversee the performance appraisal process to ensure its effectiveness.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and management regarding employee relations matters. Promote a positive work environment through effective employee relations strategies and initiatives and manage any complex employee relations issues. Develop relationships with leaders, employees and peers across the offices to facilitate and promote an environment that attracts and retains diverse talent
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret human resources data to discern trends, forecast future needs, and formulate strategic plans. Deliver insights and recommendations that can inform decision-making, optimize HR efficiency, and elevate the overall employee experience.
  • Policy Guidance: Assist in ensuring the application of company policies and procedures align with local needs, labor laws and regulations, reflect best practices, and support organizational goals. While the role isn't policy enforcement-centric, you'll occasionally work with the HR leadership team to provide guidance on policy matters when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR role in the Netherlands, with experience in multiple countries preferred.
  • Deep understanding of labor laws and regulations in the designated country or countries.
  • Exceptional people management skills with an ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technologies.
