TRAINING/E-LEARNING SPECIALIST sought by Five Stars Loyalty, Inc. in San Francisco, CA.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for evaluating training opportunities, researching and assessing organizational needs, oversee instructional systems, and developing training programs and curriculums while coordinating the rollout to relevant stakeholders nationwide. Evaluate the success of the programs, participant interaction and satisfaction, and program stability to ensure that the development programs at Five Stars are teaching relevant and effective skillsets that are valuable. Ensure that instructional content is tailored for various formats of development such as face-to-face instruction, webinars, and collaborative conferencing, in addition to being easily comprehensive for the team at Five Stars of all national regions, levels, and backgrounds. Contribute to all aspects of the training content for a dynamic audience and organization, including design, development of training, and the analysis. Partner with a wide range of stakeholders to develop and deliver the appropriate development solutions. Specific duties include: 1) Conduct cross-departmental needs analysis of projects, audiences, learning objectives, and business goals, and designing scalable and practical learning solutions across various markets. 2) Design, develop and implement high quality e-learning and training programs to be delivered in a variety of mediums. 3) Design, develop and implement company-wide new hire training programs that will increase employee engagement and retention. 4) Develop facilitator materials, job aids, web content, and evaluation strategies that define Five Stars training as best-in-class. 5) Implement strategies for effective repurposing/reuse of learning content across multiple platforms such as the LMS and mobile devices such as tablets and phones. 6) Oversee and administer training sign-ups and completion statistics. 7) Collaborate with team and subject matter experts to design highly engaging and effective learning experiences. 8) Maintain knowledge of standard operation procedures and company practices of Five Stars. 9) Track key performance indicators to enhance the required understanding of the business, and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Five Stars products, pricing, operations and support. 10) Sustain, oversee logistics, update and refresh training materials for ongoing operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field plus one (1) year of training/e-learning or related experience developing and delivering training programs/materials in various formats including in-person, web-based and blended; training and coaching clients on how to use company’s services; designing and developing a range of learning assets including learning designs, job aids, facilitator guides, visuals, and documentation; and working with SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises), stakeholders and vendors, and translating audience needs into effective training products.
Must have education or experience in:
- Project management
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and best practices
- Knowledge of sales in a SaaS-based company
- Background in training tools and eLearning solutions including Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, SnagIt, Audacity, and Adobe tools such as Captivate, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
