Every day Relationship Managers at First Republic are credit-trained lenders who work with both private and commercial clients to meet their needs for residential mortgages, construction loans or other credit facilities. As a Relationship Manager at First Republic you will work directly with clients to identify their banking needs and financial goals in order to deliver tailored private banking solutions to clients alongside their wealth management, business banking, and deposit-focused partners. As a Relationship Manager focusing on Construction Lending, you'll be responsible for developing private client relationships and providing a full range of banking and financial services, with an emphasis on construction loans (but also including residential mortgages, commercial real estate loans and other credit facilities, as well as deposits and investment management). You will acquire well-qualified clients, network with centers of influence to build relationships, and provide superior service to help clients achieve their financial objectives. You'll have the opportunity to take initiative, act entrepreneurially and grow the construction business in a team environment.

What you'll do as a Construction Relationship Manager:

• Develop new and manage existing client relationships, providing exceptional service that exceeds expectations.

• Network in the professional community, building relationships and strengthening First Republic's reputation. Acquire well-qualified clients and advise them on the Bank's full complement of products and services, creating personalized solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.

• Develop full banking and wealth advisory relationships with your clients, incorporating, for example, First Republic's broad wealth management platform (which includes excellent experienced portfolio managers as well as an open architecture program for clients who wish to select outside managers), full-service and online brokerage, and robust trust business.

You could be a good fit if you have:

• Experience as a construction lender with an existing client base

• A history of successfully generating construction loan opportunities and managing a construction loan portfolio

• A solid grounding in credit, commercial real estate and construction lending in addition to private banking

• A bachelor's degree plus a minimum of seven years of commercial real estate or construction lending experience

• Demonstrated credit skills

• Strong self-motivation combined with the ability to work in a team environment • A love of networking in the professional community

• Series 7 and 63 securities licenses preferred

Job Demands:

• Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.

• Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.

Base salary range

$66,500 - $122,500 annually

Salary may vary depending on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills and experience. Full-time employees may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes: medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, paid time off and a Wellness Program. Annual bonus, incentive pay and/or equity may also apply depending upon the role.
