Podcast Production Assistant, The Intercept (CLOSED)
NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICANTS.
The Intercept was founded in 2014 to provide an outlet for fearless, adversarial journalism that holds powerful institutions accountable. The digital magazine, a publication of First Look Media, produces original investigative reporting, analysis, and multimedia content focusing on national security, politics, civil liberties, environment, international affairs, technology, criminal justice, media, and more.
The Intercept succeeds in its mission for three key reasons:
- Independence: We are not governed by corporate interests.
- Transparency: We are focused on getting to the truth.
- Support: We provide the freedom and legal support to pursue our journalistic goals.
We are looking for a part-time production assistant to help produce a new weekly podcast for The Intercept. - Compiling audio for segments (e.g. TV news clips)

This is a paid, temporary position (20 hours week for 6 months) and not eligible for benefits.
