Residential Loan Closer - REMOTE - MST or PST

As an organization, we encourage open communication in an environment of mutual respect, where hard work is rewarded, and a professional but informal atmosphere is valued within the workplace.  <br><br><strong>Primary Purpose of Position:</strong>  <br><br>The Residential Loan Closer is responsible for reviewing incoming mortgage loan closing requests.   <br><br><strong>Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong>   <br><ul><li>Communicate directly with the processor, closing agent, and loan officer to coordinate closings.   </li><li>Prepare and review closing disclosure and closing packages for accuracy and ensure corrections are made prior to closing.   </li><li>Obtain final approval of the closing disclosure from the borrower and closing agent.   </li><li>Ensure all closing conditions are met.   </li><li>Work closely with the Closing Manager to ensure company objectives are being met.    </li></ul><br><br><strong>Qualifications include but are not limited to: </strong>   <br><ul><li>Must be able to work remote and be available in the PST or MST regions.  </li><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent required   </li><li>Working knowledge of State, Federal, TRID, Government Agency, and RESPA guidelines   </li><li>The ideal candidate must have a minimum 2 years in retail or wholesale mortgage loan closing   </li><li>Excellent math and problem-solving skills   </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills   </li><li>Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced work environment   </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with via phone and email   </li><li>Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook   </li><li>Experience working with Encompass 360 LOS   </li><li>Must be able to maintain composure with difficult or irate customers   </li><li>Promote a positive work environment   </li><li>Ability to communicate in a respectful and assertive manner   </li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize while speaking with customers   </li><li>Proven decision-making ability   </li><li>Ability to work flexible schedules as customers are located in all U.S. Time Zones    </li></ul><br><br>First Home Bank is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer and we encourage diverse, talented, qualified applicants to apply.  <br><br>#INDH1  <br><br>
