Manager of Commercial Underwriting

Position Description:
The Manager of Commercial Underwriting will lead a team of Underwriters that provide support to commercial lending teams. The manager will provide expertise to the team in underwriting, structuring, servicing and documenting new and renewal credits. He/She will ensure regulatory compliance while ensuring the team is maintaining strong quality and performance standards. This role will provide quality customer service, including participation in joint calls on customers, as needed. Also, will assist in special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor degree with 8 years commercial lending or credit analysis experience,
High school diploma or GED with 12 years commercial lending or credit analysis experience.

Other Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor degree.
Supervisory experience

Additional Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate management of the credit process to influence timeliness and accuracy of work.
Strong customer service skills.
Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft office with emphasis on Word and Excel.
Strong writing skills.
