Loan Services Specialist (Commercial Loan Servicing)
Responsible for daily life of loan servicing in a high volume, time sensitive environment.
Functions to include, but not limited to, system maintenance requests, posting of payments/payoff and advances, formal payoff requests, NSF processing, ACH set-up, researching loan histories, hazard and flood insurance tracking, paid out processing to include releasing liens for real estate/non-real estate loans and other duties as assigned.
Ensure that assigned work has been completed and departmental service levels have been met.
Effectively provide support and/or problem resolution, both orally and/or in writing, to branches and customers for high call volume received through the Branch Central Hotline for Loans and the Customer Care Center, to ensure acceptable customer service for all post-closing loan related issues.
Keep abreast of and comply with all loan operations polices/procedures, bank policy and federal/state and other governmental rules and regulations at a multi-state level.
Note: This position can be filled as a level I or II depending on the selected candidate's skills and work experience.
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year bank operations, teller or lending experience.
Strong customer service skills.
General knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
General knowledge of loan related documentation.
Ability to exercise good judgment.
Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written communication.
Ability to perform in a demanding production environment.
Attention to detail.
General knowledge of banking related state and federal regulations.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
General Loan Operations experience.
Balancing monetary transactions.
