Position Description:
Insurance Advisors collaborate with Wealth Management/Private Wealth representatives, Bank, and Insurance Services partners to provide comprehensive insurance planning services and product sales to clients and prospects. Work in partnership with advisors to gather and analyze client financial information, goals and objectives, provide recommendations, and implementing those recommendations. Meets with existing Wealth Management clients periodically to review existing insurance strategy and update as suitable.
Principal Accountabilities:
Insurance Solutions & Client Experience: Engages with Wealth Management clients and prospects to complete a customer profile, conduct insurance planning analysis, and present proposals/recommendations. Provides superior client service while working directly with clients throughout the underwriting process. Corresponds regularly with clients and prospects, as well as with referral sources during the sales process. Reviews insurance strategy with clients on a periodic basis; revises strategy as required.

Insurance Education: Provide ongoing education on insurance products via individual and group sessions with Client Advisors, Financial Advisors, and Private Bankers to generate referrals and promote insurance sales. Conduct sales presentations for clients and prospects in partnership with Wealth and Bank partners.
Partnerships: Develop and maintain a professional and productive working relationship with all Wealth, Bank, and Insurance Services partners.
Insurance Expertise: Maintain a thorough knowledge of personal, estate, and business insurance products and solutions.
Reporting: Provide accurate and timely sales process reporting to Wealth and Bank partners and management.
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years life insurance planning and sales experience.
-Or-
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years life insurance planning and sales experience.
Additional Requirements:
Possess valid Series 6/7, 63, and State specific Life and Health Insurance licenses.
Chartered Life Underwriter/. Chartered Financial Consultant.
Expertise in Long-term Care Insurance and Disability Income Insurance
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Collaborative/works well in team environment.
Self starter/drives to succeed.
Client-focused
Preferred Qualifications:
Series 65/66 licenses.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and/or Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
