Financial Sales Manager II
As a Financial Sales Manager at First Citizens Bank, you will be a player/coach in the branch with an excellent opportunity to manage sales and branch associates, as well as focus on building meaningful relationships with customers. You will get to develop strong relationships with other bank partners and bankers that enable you to introduce customers to specialists who can assist with specific financial needs. In this role, you'll receive the training, support and tools you need to present options to customers about ways to make their banking easy and convenient, while ensuring the needs of the customer always come first.

What will make you successful in this role?
-Focus on relationship building and sales development in order to achieve individual and team production results through the promotion of deposits, loans and other specialty services.
-Perform client outreach to establish new relationships as well as expand existing banking relationships. Assist with account maintenance and problem resolution for clients.
-Manage a sales and service plan for your team that aligns with the bank's expectations and maximizes results by effectively aligning associates and their activities to create value for both the customer and the bank.
-Provide one on one feedback and coaching to support associate development and achievement of results.
-Facilitate regular team meetings that drive team focus on sales & service plans and achievement of results, incorporating recognition, knowledge and skill building activities and best practice sharing.
-Proactively look for ways to enhance sales and service performance by supporting Bank initiatives and leveraging tools to enhance activities.
-Use a relationship selling approach in client/prospect interactions. Sales results should align with the needs of the community and ultimately support the organizational commitment to diverse lending.
-Uncover opportunities to make quality referrals to branch or other business partners.
-Represents the Bank in the community by attending and participating in civic and community events for purpose of generating additional business and identifying potential CRA opportunities for the Bank.
-Partner with Human Resources to perform various personnel functions to include staffing and disciplinary action.
-Demonstrate the Bank's service standards of accuracy, responsiveness, courtesy, partnership and responsibility along with other service expectations.
-Work as a team by maintaining helpful and courteous interactions with others and keep communication lines open.
-Adhere to all regulations, compliance and Bank policies, procedures and delegated authorities.
-Manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory and legal aspects of personal interactions.
Bachelor degree with a minimum of 4 years experience in a sales, customer service role and/or in a lending role to include a minimum of 1 year lead or supervisory experience.

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years experience in a sales, customer service role and/or in a lending role to include a minimum of 1 year lead or supervisory experience.
Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of retail banking products and services.
Ability to identify, think through and solve problems accurately and efficiently.
Ability to work with little direct supervision.
