Commercial Digital Delivery Manager
First Citizens Bank has doubled in size since 2009, and we are undergoing a complete restructuring of our online banking platform. The Commercial Digital Delivery Manager will be a key player in driving strategy for this high-visibility company initiative, and will be responsible taking projects from concept through launch. This individual will be managing and shaping the direction of a team of product owners who are responsible for day-to-day execution of initiatives. Examples of day-to-day activities for the team include documenting requirements and user stories, conducting and designing UAT, managing and prioritizing defects, and assisting in ongoing production efforts.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be at the beginning of customer-facing initiatives, and will enjoy a high level of ownership for the work being done. We are looking for someone with the ability to help the organization mature and operate in an agile environment. You will help guide & shape how we do that here. You are someone with a player/coach mindset and background, and you are able to formulate projects, as well as execute.
In addition to ensuring successful execution, the Delivery Manager will be responsible for ensuring the resulting product meets the client-facing standards described by product management partners; providing input into roadmap and scope, identifying opportunities for improvement, and talent development.
Bachelor degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience (with 5 years in financial services)
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 14 years' financial services experience
-Agile/Scrum experience (especially on integration projects)
-Demonstrated experience translating business and operational activity into defined process and metrics
-Strong project management experience, including leadership of cross-functional teams
-Self-directed and proactive; you exude a level of confidence and assertiveness around driving change to create a better experience
-Process improvement mindset; you are comfortable questioning status quo and recommend alternative solutions
-M&A or other large-scale platform migration experience
-Proficiency in discussing technical topics
