Job Description:
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Special Situations Coordinator to support the coordination and execution of corporate actions across our High Yield and Private Equity investment teams. This role acts as a critical bridge between front-office investment professionals and operations, ensuring seamless communication, timely processing, and accurate reconciliation of complex corporate action events.
You will serve as the central point of contact for special situations involving restructurings, tenders, exchanges, conversions, recapitalizations, and private placements. The role involves daily coordination with investment teams, brokers, custodians, and legal teams to manage time-sensitive and often nuanced transactions.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in investment operations, corporate actions, or related functions
- Familiarity with High Yield and/or Private Equity investment structures and workflows strongly preferred.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple complex events simultaneously with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability in managing high-value events
- A continuous improvement mindset, with experience identifying process gaps and driving automation or documentation enhancements
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The Team
You will join the Global Corporate Actions team, a highly collaborative and experienced group that supports investment teams by ensuring accurate and timely execution of all corporate action events. Within this group, you'll focus specifically on high-impact special situations, working closely with portfolio managers, legal teams, custodians, and counterparties. This team is known for its ability to navigate complexity, deliver under pressure, and support critical investment outcomes through operational excellence and coordination.
The Corporate Actions team operates in a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement, and plays a vital role in enabling investment success through operational precision.
