Program Structure and Career Progression:
As a member of FDM’s Business Talent Program, you will begin with 8-weeks of immersive introductory training to build your understanding of our business model, develop and refine key foundational skillsets, and set you on the path to succeed in your career with us. The training will cover topics including: Professional Skills; Project Management; Excel; Finance; Business Analysis; SQL; Sales Techniques; Salesforce; Market Research; Lead Generation; Negotiation; FDM’s Business Model; Recruitment Techniques; Data Analysis; and more.
After completion of the initial core training, you will begin as a Recruitment Consultant responsible for helping to attract, recruit, assess, and process candidates for the FDM Careers Program. Responsibilities include attending Career Fairs, facilitating on-campus presentations about FDM, screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, and facilitating candidate Assessment Days. The Recruitment role will help you develop a strong understanding of FDM’s business model and will develop your skills in presentation, communication, and persuasion.
Following your experience in the Recruitment department, you will have the option to remain in that role or to progress to become an Account Manager. Working under the guidance of the Sales Team Leads, as an Account Manager you will be working on the client-facing side of the business, developing skills in customer service, relationship management, new business development, and more. Account Managers serve as the pivotal link between FDM’s Consultants and the clients who need their services. Individuals in the Business Talent Program are also provided the option to experience firsthand what it’s like to be a Consultant representing FDM on our client sites. Should you choose this pathway, you would take on additional technical training modules in the FDM Academy in order to be placed onsite as a Business Analyst or Project Management Officer with one of our prestigious clients.
