Business Development Representative (Lead Generation)

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their Account Executive counterparts. This role manages the outbound campaigns of their sales pod, qualifying active buying interest, and identifying critical decision makers. The SDR will need to be able to articulate the FS value proposition.

  • Making 75+ outbound phone calls each day
  • Discovering new leads through internet research and social media monitoring/messaging, using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Zoom info 
  • Supporting Fashion Snoops’ marketing efforts by assisting in online and other marketing campaigns
  • Managing prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting in
  • Achieving, and exceeding, weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.)
  • Responding to inbound customer interest and developing these accounts to create opportunities
  • Being prepared for and contributing to strategic weekly account and trial status meetings

  • You have 1-2 years of experience as a Sales Assistant, Lead Generation or in Direct Sales
  • You’re resourceful and creative with a keen capacity to regularly identify new ways of reaching prospects 
  • You’re comfortable making cold calls and scheduling meetings with prospective clients 
  • You pride yourself on being self-motivated, enthusiastic, and independent
  • You are a polished communicator and are ready to hone your pitch starting day one
  • You have a go-getter attitude! “No” doesn't stop you - it only makes you think of other ways to go for the “Yes”.
  • You have a strong passion for sales and sales processes.
  • You are highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • You feel confident using programs sales supporting tools. If you haven’t used them, that’s ok! You have had to learn new programs before and have a knack for picking them up quickly.


  • You have experience working in a sales environment at a SaaS information service or technology company 
  • You have direct experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and Zoominfo 
  • You have experience working with apparel, accessories, beauty, retail, media and consumer products  companies
  • You have direct experience leveraging a marketing automation tool (Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.)
