    Job Description

    As a valued colleague on our team, you will assist with managing the securities administration process, assessing operational risks, and coordinating tactical execution and day-to-day operations for managing mortgage-backed security (MBS) pool transactions, as well as monitor customer (lenders, services, and internal partners) performance.

    The Operations - Loan Management - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    • Assist with day-to-day operations for managing loans and MBS pool transactions.
    • Adhere to firm guidelines and controls to mitigate operational and financial risk.
    • Participate in loan management activities that support business unit goals.
    • Prepare resources to support loan management workflow.

    Qualifications

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    Desired Experiences

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent
    • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in Operations
    • Execute procedures and coordinate day to day operations for Securities Administration production activities, to include (Multi-Class (REMICS etc.) Bond Administration, Single-Class Bond Administration and Disclosure)
    • Prior knowledge/experience of mortgage backed securities
    • Analytical and Critical thinking, ability to synthesize large amounts of data
    • Adhere to firm guidelines and controls to mitigate operational, financial, reputational risk
    • Prepare data and reports to assist with defining business unit goals and monitoring progress
    • Aid in identifying and implementing process changes to support effectiveness and efficiency of the process
    • Building relationships with internal partners and customers, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration and business results
    • Working across business units to improve monitoring, discovering issues, mitigating risk and delivering better value to the customer
    • Adhering to internal controls and providing support for audit and regulatory reviews
    • Identifying and resolving issues by creating a common understanding of the problem and proposing potential solutions
    • Raising technical issues, reporting them to technology partners and leadership. Supporting (as needed) the technology group by testing system enhancements
    • Ability to facilitate effective working meetings, by developing the meeting agenda, asking probing questions


    • Nice to have skills: Intermediate knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Excel Macros/VBA
