THE GAME PLAN

The FanDuel Talent Acquisition and Leadership team is hosting an in-person hiring and networking event at our New York office on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. This is an invite-only event for qualified candidates. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted with additional information if your profile meets the qualifications.

The submission date for your application is June 5, 2023.

WHAT IS A SPORTS TRADER?

Sports Traders at FanDuel are the people behind the odds that our customers bet on. We utilize stats, in-house models, industry news and our opinions to help formulate what we believe are the most accurate odds, and then manage those odds throughout their lifecycle. This includes moving prices when breaking news hits or using our in-house models to move prices live during games. We don’t expect anyone to walk in the door and know everything at the start, so we take our training seriously and make sure that the successful candidate is well supported, but you can’t get the role if you don’t throw your hat in the ring!

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • You are passionate about and have in depth knowledge about one or more of the following sports: NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NCAAB
  • You have the ability to attend our Jersey City office and can work weekends and occasional late shifts based on the sporting calendar
  • You are comfortable with numbers and have the ability to do basic and mental math problems under time pressure
  • You are comfortable working with Microsoft Excel
  • You have a high attention to detail, work well in a team and are happy to watch sport every day!
