VP, Product Partnerships

Facebook is looking to hire a Vice President of Product Partnerships. Ideal candidates for this role will have an extensive understanding of technology platforms, API-based product integrations, non-profit partnership and social impact initiatives. Additionally, they would have a track-record exceptional creativity and of identifying and successfully implementing innovative solutions to business problems. This role also requires close cross-functional collaboration with colleagues in Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to develop strategies, partnerships, products, and new experiences that meet the strategic objectives of people, partners and Facebook. This position will be based in Menlo Park, CA.

VP, PRODUCT PARTNERSHIPS RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive partnership strategy, relationships, and key initiatives related to developers, non-profits, educators and community leaders using Facebook platforms and services
  • Responsible for day-to-day partnership relationships and operations for a portfolio of global partner categories
  • Help different partner categories understand how to utilize and prioritize Facebook's platforms as critical tools to drive their product, community and business objectives
  • Successfully advance and maintain long-term strategic partnerships, as well as business negotiations as necessary
  • Work cross-functionally within Facebook (product, engineering, sales, marketing, operations) to successfully develop and bring integrated solutions to partners
  • Identify and share outstanding partner best practices and case studies to support all of our partners
  • Work with relevant internal teams to ensure that Facebook is taking partner input into account in relevant product and policy decisions
  • Track, analyze and communicate quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner and their communities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors of Arts or Science Degree
  • 15+ years of work experience within a partnerships, business development, corporate development related role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
  • Experience contributing at both a strategic and operational levels
  • Experience building and scaling operational efforts and responsibilities across multiple functional teams
  • Track record of increasing responsibility and getting maximum leverage out of resources
  • Proven organizational and team leaders, including developing high performing collaborative teams and inspire leaders across multiple disciplines
  • Demonstrated track record of operational execution
  • Project management experience, with the experience leading and handling multiple cross-functional projects on deadline
  • Communication and presentation experience
  • Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence others
  • Experience in developing and driving strategy and execution plans
  • Experience building internal and external relationships
  • Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of management, internally and externally
  • Experience using data and analysis to create and support business narratives
  • Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel in order to build relationships with global partners
  • MBA or Masters Degree
