The Developer Operations team makes sure that applications integrated into our platforms are high-quality and trustworthy. Working closely with other Facebook teams, we review apps prior launch and detect and investigate violations of our Platform Policies.
Our Scaled Support Management team is responsible for scaling up our app review and policy compliance operations, ensuring that apps integrated to our platforms are provided with a great experience to their users and developers. We do so by building and investing in a robust operational model that helps us review app integrations efficiently and accurately, while identifying improvement opportunities. We partner with all teams across our Developer Operations organization and multiple cross-functional teams across Facebook.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the ongoing improvement of the Developer Operations service platform, from project ideation to execution across multiple stakeholders within the team and across the wider organization.
  • Define the roadmap for the platform, identifying opportunities for enhancements, and working with partner teams to execute that change.
  • Manage the platform ecosystem, ensuring standardization and reuse of components across multiple workflows.
  • Be the expert in core Developer Operations infrastructure, tools, systems, and data
  • Influence cross-functional partners like Engineering to make operational improvements
  • Troubleshoot problems within the platform environment, engaging appropriate resources as necessary to resolve issues
  • Ensure that client team operations are in accordance with internal and external policies/procedures, and assist in delivering evidence of compliance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Economics or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of experience in project management, data analysis, operations, customer support, risk, payments or similar
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional partners & across regions
  • 2+ years managing vendor / offshoring engagements
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills for complex situations
