Technical Program Manager - Advertiser Products

On the Business Interfaces Platform team, our mission is make it easier for Facebook teams to create coherent, high quality advertiser experiences which will enable advertisers more efficiently accomplish their goals. These advertiser interfaces help businesses manage their Facebook advertising across the entire Facebook family of applications. We support the full spectrum of businesses, from local small businesses to multinational brands as well as a diverse internal partner team ecosystem. We have impact across a very diverse global set of teams inside Facebook, as well as in-direct contact with end customers and the Facebook sales and marketing organizations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage cross-functional programs by working with engineer teams, business teams as well as internal Facebook partners
  • Lead initiatives and drive collaboration with product and infrastructure teams across Interfaces and Facebook
  • Maintain the team's focus on strategy and goal-oriented results
  • Influence product roadmap by having a deep understanding of what and how product teams build into Advertiser experiences
  • Communicate status and big picture to the project team and management
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
  • Drive internal process improvements, remove gaps across multiple teams and ensure teams are working on high impact projects that align with company mission and goals
  • Interface with Engineering and Product teams for project requirements and scope
  • Act as a liaison and develop strong working relationships with internal partner teams
  • Be the glue between different cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product management, Product Marketing, Research, Design
  • Balance the business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise for your area
  • Proactively identify risks and inefficiencies that are holding the team back, and drive better, more efficient workflows
  • Assess business impact, prioritize initiatives and quickly react to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of tech industry experience and 5+ years of program management experience
  • Communication experience with experience tailoring the message and detail to the audience, and using multiple communication mediums to distribute information
  • 5+ years of experience with hands-on involvement in solving technical problems
  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and demonstrating critical thinking experience
  • Proven experience leading cross-organizational programs and experience setting and holding teams and individuals accountable to timelines and deliverables
  • Analytical and problem solving experience including experience collecting data points across disparate projects
