Strategic Sourcing Manager, Capital Equipment

Come and develop, drive and execute a new product category with Oculus VR! Oculus is looking for individuals that want to be on the ground floor of a breakthrough technology and help build a world-class supply chain. This person will have responsibility for sourcing of key capital equipment that enables the innovation and scale of the future VR/AR products. This individual will work closely with cross-functional team to identify the need, sourcing for the optimal partners and establish solid partnership with the suppliers, a key to our success in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop sourcing strategy for capital equipment to enable the technology innovation and scale
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify the need of future capital equipment
  • Establish and lead the sourcing process for capital equipment to support manufacturing objectives
  • Negotiate and execute supply contract, service agreement and SOW
  • Ensure quality, delivery and cost from key partners
  • Conduct ROI and TCO analysis with data-driven approach to evaluate different solutions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years work experience in Supply chain, Operations, Finance or related disciplines
  • Project management experience, negotiation and leadership experience
  • Knowledge in manufacturing operations and mass production environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA
  • 5+ years experience in capital equipment procurement or sourcing role
