Facebook is seeking an entry-level Strategic Partner Development, News to support the News Partnerships team. This role will manage a variety of organizational projects across the team including budget forecasts, invoice tracking, scheduling, internal and industry event planning and logistics. This role will work across the News Partnerships team and cross-functional partners as well as interface directly with a range of external partners in the News industry. The News Partnerships team is the external arm of Facebook with the News industry and works with the world’s largest and most exciting News organizations on high profile projects. This position is based in New York.


  • Logistical support for Facebook Journalism Project initiatives (roundtables, roadshows, hackathons, etc)
  • Manage multiple calendars handling inbound meeting requests and internal calendaring and meeting planning
  • Provide onsite program support for executive and partner meetings, including prep for meetings, agenda development and logistics planning
  • Maintain calendar for industry and FB news events
  • Serve as a first point of contact via phone and email with external partners in the News Industry
  • Track, update and share latest information about News social media integrations
  • Welcome a range of guests to the New York office

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree
  • 3 + years of full-time administrative experience with Executive members
  • Experience managing and tracking budgets
  • Experience with computer programs, such as Outlook
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize assignments
  • Communication skills
  • Scheduling and travel coordination skills
  • Experience organizing off-site events
  • Experience with scaling space management and planning to accommodate growth amongst teams
  • Ability to work in a changing environment
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to establish connections and build relationships
  • Self-directed and take initiative
