Strategic Business Alignment Manager

Facebook is seeking a Strategic Business Alignment Manager to join its Global Security Team. Global Security's mission is to keep the things that we value safe and secure while protecting the people, assets and reputation of Facebook.
The ideal candidate will be a competent leader who is able to provide guidance to enable the integration of Global Security's goals and objectives with Facebook's mission, culture and strategic company plan. A consistent self-starter who proactively identifies risks while driving efficiency and inspiration throughout the team is desired, as is a thoughtful and resourceful communicator. We want someone who can develop thought-provoking and creative ideas, while also being strategic and solution-oriented.
The ideal candidate will excel at reducing inefficiencies and removing operational roadblocks and will also have a strong curiosity for optimization and connecting the dots. Attention to detail and the ability to remain agile, calm and organized in a fast-paced environment are critical to this role. The candidate will have demonstrated discretion and poise as well as strong interpersonal skills given the importance of relationship-building in this role. Excitement about the services we provide and the people that we serve is required.

STRATEGIC BUSINESS ALIGNMENT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead advancement and monitoring of goal-achieving processes, exploration of key areas of opportunity, and other central team planning functions.
  • Develop insights and recommendations on strategic decisions, including the growth strategy and execution plan. Support recommendations with data, competitive, and strategic analysis.
  • Define and implement new processes to help our growing team increase their impact and work more efficiently with partners.
  • Promote operational excellence and ensure strong plans and KPIs are in place.
  • Stay engaged and closely in tune with the rhythm of the business in order to drive informed decision-making and proactive solutions.
  • Build and foster strong working relationships across teams, business functions and geographic locations.
  • Influence stakeholders to ensure process optimization and execution.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in business management, strategic planning or related discipline
  • BA/BS degree in Economics, Business Analytics, Project Management, Business Strategy or related field
  • Experience defining, developing and leading business processes
  • Experience defining metrics and setting goals
  • Problem-solving experience
  • Experience at cutting through multi-dimensional topics and ensuring they're explained to consumers
  • Interpersonal communication experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience turning data into a narrative
  • Sound business judgment and strategic thinking
  • Experienced with ambiguity and demonstrated experience succeeding in dynamic and fast-moving environments
