The Platform Policy Operations Team is looking for a strong team player focused on policy enforcement, app integrity and operations to support the developer community, investigate & enforce our policies and ensure the best possible user experience. The role covers Facebook, Instagram, Messenger as well as our newer platforms and products. In this position, you will interface with internal teams such as Partnerships, Policy, Legal, Marketing and Engineering, as well as with external, independent developers writing their first app and larger companies who have built businesses on the Facebook Platform. Successful candidates have a passion for investigating challenging scenarios, ability to successfully manage multiple, cross-functional partners and stakeholders, strong attention to detail, bias toward action, enjoy finding patterns amid chaos and making quick decisions.


  • :Quantify and approach solving problems through data-driven methodology
  • Liaise with Partnership Management teams to understand regional strategies and tailor projects and operations accordingly
  • Interface with Policy, Operations and Engineering to ensure that developers adhere to the Platform Policies and provide great user experience
  • Analyze data to identify trends and drive scalable solutions
  • Investigate possible abuse, create & implement enforcement actions and communicate with developers
  • Develop and lead end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery of critical platform initiatives
  • Stay up to date with the Developer Policies and abuse trends
  • Creatively contribute to the Platform team's overall mission

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • Avid Facebook user and an understanding of the Facebook platform
  • Success in leading projects from inception to completion
  • Ability to correctly prioritize and set accurate and reasonable expectations
  • Strong critical thinking and deep analysis capabilities
  • Ability to come up with reasonable solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to make sound decisions even on ambiguous situations
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities that support data-driven decision making
  • Flexibility to take on multiple tasks
