SMB Marketing Manager, Greater China

We are looking for an experienced marketer to develop, drive and manage our marketing strategy for small businesses for the Greater China region with a focus on mainland China. You’ll be tasked with a range of responsibilities, all with the goal of educating and inspiring SMBs to grow their business with Facebook. This position requires experience with integrated marketing, strong project management and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in diverse marketing experiences, including digital marketing, brand management and advertising. This individual will also collaborate with the broader marketing team and push the overall creativity of the organisation. This position is full time and based in our Hong Kong office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive Greater China (GCR) small business marketing strategy partnering with the small business (SMB) organisation with a focus on mainland China
  • Own and develop marketing strategies and create programs and marketing campaigns focused on getting SMBs to succeed with Facebook’s business solutions
  • Create and own SMB brand voice
  • Ensure that the SMB narrative is localised as needed
  • bring the SMB narrative to life in China across a variety of marketing channels
  • Own and develop SMB content strategy and drive deeper content development and scaled education/resources for SMBs across channels (e.g., collateral, case studies, videos)
  • Develop messaging architecture in China that enables the SMB team to optimize marketing touch points in a move-fast environment
  • Partner closely with regional and cross-functional teams to deliver SMB programs and marketing campaigns in China
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of experience in a marketing role
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a must
  • verbal and written business fluency in English
  • Passion for/knowledge of SMB market and insights
  • Experience developing marketing communications and measuring impact
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing
  • Understanding of scaled channels and how to bring new ideas to market
  • Strong writing skills and a creative problem solver
  • Knowledgeable about the advertising and marketing industry in China
  • understanding of export marketing is a plus
