SMB Marketing Manager, China

We are looking for an experienced marketer to develop, drive and manage our marketing strategy for small businesses for the Asia Pacific region with a focus on mainland China. You'll be tasked with a range of responsibilities, all with the goal of educating and inspiring SMBs to grow their business with Facebook. This position requires experience with marketing, strong project management and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in consulting, brand management, advertising, or marketing. This individual will also collaborate with the greater marketing team and push the overall creativity of the organisation. This position is full time and based in our Hong Kong office.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Asia Pacific (APAC) small business marketing communications strategy partnering with the small business (SMB) organisation with a focus on mainland China
  • Create programs and marketing campaigns focused on getting SMBs to succeed with Facebook's business solutions
  • Create and own SMB brand voice and roll-out through China channels and teams
  • Ensure that the SMB narrative is localised and translated as needed
  • bring the SMB narrative to life in China across a variety of marketing channels including via Resellers
  • Develop SMB content strategy and drive deeper content development and scaled education/resources for SMBs across channels (e.g., collateral, case studies, videos)
  • Develop messaging architecture in China that enables the SMB team to optimize marketing touch points in a move-fast environment
  • Represent our China customers with internal stakeholders including Product, Product Marketing, Policy, and Sales teams to improve our Facebook platform and tools
  • Partner closely with regional and cross-functional teams to deliver SMB programs and marketing campaigns in China

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in a marketing role
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a must
  • Passion for/knowledge of SMB market and insights
  • Experience developing marketing communications and measuring impacts
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing
  • Understanding of scaled channels and how to bring new ideas to market
  • Expert in operational efficiency through automation of tools and processes
  • Strong writing skills and a creative problem solver
  • Proven track record of "moving fast" and delivering on tight deadlines
  • Verbal and written business fluency in English
  • Knowledgeable about the advertising and marketing industry of China and have understanding on exporting marketing
