The logistics team is responsible for the warehousing and shipping of inventory to support the build and sustaining operations of new and existing FB Data Centers. Additionally, the team also provides support to supply chain operations, IT and labs for international shipments, and inventory management (staging for deployment, end of life scrapping) as needed. In this role you will work closely with Data Center techs and our external logistics provider to develop requirements and processes, implement processes pertaining to shipping, receiving and inventory management. You will work with the central team in MPK and rest of the regional coordinators on process consistency. You will support the testing and rollout of projects. You will also provide weekly status reports on operations and projects You will oversee relationship with vendor employees at local region to ensure timely execution of plans and service delivery. You will track and manage regional operations to an agreed upon metrics and escalate to the central team if any operational issues.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all day-to-day aspects of material movement, including shipping and receiving, inventory management and cycle counting of all consigned and FB-owned inventory in region
  • Help produce monthly Audits of Compliance to ensure meeting all inventory controls
  • Support month and quarter end requirements to ensure appropriate financial reporting
  • Drive inventory reconciliation process to identify risk, manage obsolescence, and reserve appropriately
  • Proactively monitor system interfaces with external suppliers to identify and correct any errors that impact product movements
  • Manage materials and inventory in a manner consistent with the requirements of Facebook
  • Help manage ongoing KPI’s to measure supplier/fb Logistics performance
  • Work closely with the central team to understand business requirements, implement new processes, and contribute to ongoing process improvements
  • Resolve project issues and coordinate appropriate escalation
  • Assist in maintain the dashboards and index reports to drive improvement and trending metrics

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in business analysis / program management
  • Demonstrated skills in as-is/to-be business process mapping, gap analysis, requirements elicitation and data analysis
  • Experienced in cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage time
  • Experienced handling PM responsibilities (prioritization, planning, scheduling, status reporting)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, business or related field and 5+ years related experience in a production IT environment
  • Experience with systems – Oracle, Excel or any other analytics tools
  • Communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention-to-detail, and interpersonal skills
  • Supply Chain process understanding from Procure to Pay
