The Global People Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for the successful operation of the company-wide HR systems security alignment (Workday, Salesforce, Portal, etc.). The successful candidate will work to drive and support the Workday security design and maintenance. The security design from the Human Capital Management (HCM) will need to be aligned with downstream systems containing HR data with a lens to General Data Protection Regulation. You will guide the security design road-map through definition of features, enhancements, fixes and other functionality by understanding our internal stakeholders' needs and defining the future strategy to exceed them!


  • Design & manage in partnership with People Engineering on Workday and downstream (Salesforce, SpringCM, Visier, Service Cloud, Performance tool) system security
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to determine requirements, and prioritize for the People Engineering (development) team
  • Manage the day-to-day security review with the lens of GDPR, and approval flow and provide support and issues resolution
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Engineers on day-to-day bugs, features and priorities
  • Continuously seek out improvements to our processes and activities cross-functionally to create best possible learning experience for users
  • Partner with compliance internal/external audits for security reviews
  • Develop an adoption, communications, and change management strategy for security
  • Develop and implement a security support structure and gain approval from compliance and GDPR team
  • Leverage best practices from industry in influencing and driving security model strategy
  • Responsible for various HR systems solutions and Technical requirements associated in large enterprises, and will focus as the HCM Security Owner to define requirements, build and deploy the tool to all Facebook stakeholders
  • Lead design and review sessions with technical and functional resources at all levels, including members of management
  • Lead the cross-functional project and working groups
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in HR systems security
  • 5+ years of project management experience in an HR/Operations/Technology environment
  • Experience in building and driving projects
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups to implement tool/security changes
  • Experience with change management specific to a new security process or system changes
  • Experience resolving blockers in projects or initiatives underway that are impeding program success
  • Organizational experience and experience working on more than one project at a time
  • Experience working with both engineering and end-user groups to identify, prioritize and scope tool requirements
  • Experience with the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
  • Experience with project methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall
  • Experience with implementing and designing HCM Security: Workday, SuccessFactor, SAP, Oracle, and Peoplesoft
  • Workday HCM configuration, Workday Security design, Payroll background, SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft product or custom built solutions and program management experience
