Facebook is seeking a highly quantitative, driven, process & detail oriented Sales Operations Analyst who will serve as a member of Facebook's core Sales Operations team with a focus on Sales Enablement strategies and influencing Sales tooling decisions as well as wider Sales Operations projects. The role will be part of the centralised Global Sales Operations group, where the team concentrate on centralizing processes, planning and policies. The team lay out the foundations and roadmap, which will help the Sales organization to be more efficient and effective and scale with Facebook's future successThe ideal candidate will be just as comfortable working directly with data and logic as well as communicating, presenting and project managing proposed improvements. There will be an expectation for the candidate to be self-starting and move fast, building and architecting the tools that will deliver a new automated process where done is better than perfect. The candidate should expect to work in a highly ambiguous environment where scope of responsibility and ownership is self-driven and performance is measured on the impact they have had on our Operational effectiveness. An eagerness and eye for automation and efficiency paired with proven logical and numerical skills are key to success in this role.This position is located in London.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Enablement
  • Review and Catalogue operational processes in Sales and Sales Operations through research and analytical techniques
  • Identify operational knowledge levels in Sales and Sales Operations and areas of opportunity
  • Design and execute knowledge improvement strategies through influencing partnering teams in learning and tooling, or self-built solutions
  • Own and continue to improve knowledge retention and storage within Sales Operations and programs to train new joiners to the Sales Operations team
  • New Tool Creation & Deployment
  • Highly proficient in logic based skills and languages such as SQL, Excel, VBA in order to be self-sufficient in deploying new processes and procedures. Anaplan experience highly preferred
  • Working with IT teams on Sales-facing tooling in CRM systems, feeding in design requirements and supporting the end to end development cycle of the tool from conception to deployment
  • Capable of learning new logic/programming languages to continue to enhance Facebook's Sales processes on Facebook's platform of technologies and 3rd party solutions
  • Project manage the development of centralized tools, ranging from dashboards, multi-dimensional modelling and spreadsheets, that Sales teams can use to extract data / insights for daily business management in an automated manner or formalize Sales processes
  • Project Management & Process Improvement
  • Identification of operational improvements based on review of current processes through documentation of process and data flows
  • Regular communication with Global Sales Operations counterparts to execute on global projects and feedback future needs of regional sales teams
  • Experience and understanding of information flow strategies and best practices when working with data
  • Ability to manage and work on a wide variety of projects simultaneously, understanding that done is better than perfect to maximise impact.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a Sales Operations role, analytics or planning experience required
  • At a minimum, BA/BS degree in a numerate or business related subject (Business Management, Finance, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, etc) or equivalent practical experience
  • Demonstrable problem solving ability with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets
  • Proven experience with managing information strategy and data structure
  • Advanced Excel skills & SQL knowledge and basic understanding of computer programming a must - Anaplan modelling experience preferable
  • Experience working with IT and Sales teams in order to create sales-facing solutions at scale.Minimum 4 years' experience in a business operational role, analytics or planning experience required
