Sales Operations Lead, Latin America Sales

Facebook is looking for a high caliber business leader to be part of the Sales Operation and Sales leadership teams helping the business driving operational efficiencies and sound decisions across the organization. This person will be responsible for all aspects of Sales Operations and for the Operations and Planning roles/teams for Latin America. This is a Sao Paulo, Brazil based role.


  • Lead a team of Sales Ops professionals
  • Drive the overall Sales Ops Agenda for Latin America
  • Play the role of Partner for Regional Sales leaders on all business and operational aspects
  • Develop and execute strategy to ensure growth and achievement of key accounts (global and regional/national) and revenue objectives
  • Drive regional execution through ability to quickly move from high level conversations into detailed operational discussions
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing the pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts
  • Provide leadership to Group leads & Heads of Industry, provide guidance in developing strategic partnerships that leverage the complete Facebook proposition
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market dynamics and implications for Facebook's strategy in each market presenting Latin America in global forums
  • Play the role of neutral referee by understanding global imperatives and tradeoffs and ultimately ensuring decisions are made in the best interest of Facebook overall
  • Support RVP by coordinating cross-regional processes (e.g., budget/headcount asks, other tailored regional asks), communication and forums
  • Drive streamlined and efficient processes
  • Partner with HR BP on organizational reviews
  • Ops Lead "tension" to drive best global standards
  • Ensure global standards are met / implemented in the regions
  • Challenge regional decisions and ensure they are in line with the global sales organization's approach

Minimum Qualifications

  • Over 15 years sales operation experience
  • Prior management experience
  • Over 15 years relevant experience in marketing, sales and management of technology and or Internet company and proven experience in managing regional sales and marketing operations
  • Ability to influence and make decisions
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees
  • Results and detail orientated
  • Leadership, organizational, and problem solving/decision making skills
  • Self-starter with interpersonal skills and work ethic
  • Fluency in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, marketing or business related subject
