Roadmap Project Manager

Facebook is seeking a Project Manager to join the Roadmap team within FCS Technology. You will work with cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery of projects on the FCS technology roadmap. The position is full-time and is based in our main office in Menlo Park, CA.


  • Execute on complex, ambiguous internal projects
  • Effectively communicate project status, issues and risks across stakeholders at multiple levels and in different functions
  • Partner with internal customers to define scope, objectives, requirements and metrics for success
  • Partner with engineering teams to define timeline, drive delivery and ensure quality of solution
  • Establish and maintain strong internal partnerships, acting as thought partner and internal consultant
  • Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making
  • Identify gaps in systems and processes and develop scalable solutions to solve them
  • Ability to distill complex issues and feedback into meaningful directive communications
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects while demonstrating urgency and ownership to drive tasks and issues to completion
  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years of work experience with a proven track record in driving technical projects
  • Experience communicating to a variety of audiences (business and technical) and stakeholders at various levels
  • Experience solving business problems through analysis and collaboration
  • Experience functioning with minimal supervision
  • Experience adapting to changing business priorities
  • Experience in strategy, change management and rolling-out large scale initiatives
  • Experience implementing technical projects in a quickly-changing environment
  • Ability to think under pressure, both individually and in team environment
  • Experience communicating with senior leaders
  • Project management certification
  • Experience working in real estate and facilities operations
