Together, we can help people build stronger communities — we're just getting started.The Facebook Payments Compliance team is looking for an independent, team-oriented professional who can collaborate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders and prioritize effectively in a fast-moving business environment. Reporting to the Head of Compliance & MLRO and representing Facebook Payments International Limited (FBPIL), an Irish authorised E-Money institution, you will help create innovative scalable compliance systems and processes to harness the transactional power of Facebook. You will also help Facebook Payments ensure that its compliance policies, internal controls, and systems help Facebook in its mission to "make the world more open and connected."

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of robust compliance policies and procedures in accordance with domestic and European Regulations, ensuring regular review for changes to business operations and/or the regulatory environment
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams and senior management to ensure that all regulatory compliance requirements are accounted for in the development of regulated payments products throughout Europe
  • Provide technical guidance, advice and support to the business on a range of regulatory compliance matters
  • Manage Facebook Payments relationship with European regulators, internal auditors, external auditors, banking partners, payment processors and a range of other external stakeholders
  • Oversee all regulatory reporting requirements to the Central Bank of Ireland and other relevant authorities
  • Coordinate the agenda and preparation of management information for presentation to the Facebook Payments International Board of Directors
  • Conduct a range of local compliance monitoring reviews in support of Facebook
  • Payments Global Compliance Monitoring Program, including the monitoring and control of certain outsourcing arrangements
  • Support the implementation of the Facebook Payments Global Enterprise Risk Management Program

Minimum Qualifications

  • Self-starter with 7+ years of industry or consulting experience in regulatory compliance, risk management or internal audit in a multinational company
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment and work cross-functionally across multiple geographies, teams, and employees of diverse backgrounds
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a collaborative team-oriented problem solving approach are critical
  • Experience interacting with financial services regulators and independent examiners from financial services consulting firms.
