Recruiting Manager, New York Site Leader

As the Recruiting Manager, New York Site Leader you will develop, drive, and execute on the staffing strategies that support our fast-growing New York Product and Software Engineering Recruiting teams. You will grow and lead a team of staffing professionals across multiple business functions, partner closely with the business to drive our growth strategy and collaborate with the site leaders to ensure the New York site is growing and thriving.


  • Provide innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring to meet FB business objectives
  • Design customized and executable staffing plans while building excellent relationships with the recruiting team and engineering client groups
  • Create innovative sourcing strategies and ensuring a high-touch candidate experience
  • Facilitate and lead meetings and key initiatives and projects with recruiting team and client groups
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to both managers and individual contributors on the recruiting team
  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally (e.g. Legal, Finance, PR, Growth, Facilities, HR, etc.)
  • Compile & analyze data and metrics to support business decisions and plans as necessary
  • 10+ years recruiting experience with software engineering and Product organization and experience managing managers
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience guiding recruiting teams
  • Experience managing teams, including developing and hiring people leaders internally and externally
  • Strategic thinker with data analysis and analytical experience
  • Experience influencing and communicating cross-functionally
  • Problem-solving and organizational experience
  • Knowledge of the Software Engineering and Product development market
