Facebook is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage capital improvement projects at our Menlo Park Headquarters. The role involves renovation of existing facilities and executing on strategic plans for long-term expansion. This full-time position will be located at our Menlo Park Headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing capital improvement projects for existing and new facilities at our Menlo Park headquarters
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the project, including the design, permitting, budget, schedule, operational needs, procedures, client standards, and sustainability design
  • Responsible for building project teams including the architect, contractors, consultants, and other project team members to meet the project objectives and resolve issues
  • Responsible to manage all phases of the projects including permitting, design, pre-construction, procurement, construction, CX and move in
  • In collaboration with the Space Planning and Global Design teams, the PM work with project stakeholders to develop and define project scope
  • Understand the Facebook culture and values and how it translates into the workplace and built environments
  • Provide graphic and written summaries of project and team status for internal distribution
  • Review, understand, and manage procedures for handling the contract documents, monthly valuations, cash flow, and change orders
  • Document the status of the project, all meetings and correspondence as a means to properly communicate within the project team and develop the project documents
  • Full responsibility for multiple projects and/or projects within a program
  • Supervise multiple contract construction managers
  • Work with internal partners to coordinate Facebook direct scopes
  • Build project processes, procedures and standards for all aspects of project delivery
  • Ensure the infrastructure requirements at each Facebook office is consistent with global standards
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture
  • Experience working with corporate real estate teams managing projects, overseeing and directing the work of others in multiple locations
  • 12+ years experience in all aspects of Project Delivery, managing Design, and Construction processes
  • Communication experience
  • Organizational experience coupled with attention to detail and follow-up
  • Experience building relationships all levels of the company
