Project Manager, Ads Help and Education

The Ads Help and Education team is looking for an experienced project manager with a strong background in web and mobile content to transform the support experience for Facebook advertisers around the world. You will manage projects for a team responsible for creating and managing high quality educational and support content at massive scale for mobile and web users of our Help Center and Facebook for Business website. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience working in a cross-functional team, and an obsession with creating an amazing customer experience through scalable and efficient processes. This role is based in our headquarters in Menlo Park, California.


  • Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to ensure content requirements are implemented and help and education impact is well understood
  • Establish shared goals, clear responsibilities, metrics and feedback loops, and other operating rhythms to foster collaboration and communication within our team and with cross-functional partners
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of projects from requirements, solution design and development, robust testing, identifying and managing risks, monitoring and triaging issues, and ensuring documentation and training
  • Work with product teams across Facebook to ensure content best practices are followed
  • Analyze content workflow issues and provide optimal solutions
  • Review, prioritize, and track progress of issues that affect content relevancy, quality, and functionality
  • Map, monitor, and analyze daily and periodic workflows to scope and drive alignment on solutions to streamline workflows, opportunities for automation, and areas requiring tools enhancement to increase efficiency
  • Manage high profile projects and identify the need for freelance resources when necessary

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant project management experience
  • Ability to establish shared goals and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Experience managing budgets and vendors
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in an organized manner
  • Experience in project managing the end-to-end delivery of large-scale process redesign, systems implementation, or streamlining processes through automation
  • Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office tools and related project/program management applications, such as Asana or Basecamp
  • Knowledgeable of tools and techniques for process improvement (i.e., process mapping, analysis, and redesign)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years spent working in the internet technology or digital marketing space
  • Experience or knowledge in the production of websites, videos, and other help and educational content
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Experience working with engineering teams
  • Familiarity with data analysis and data mining (e.g., BI tools, SQL)
  • General knowledge of advertising and/or UX
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other design packages
