Program Manager, Watch and Video, Media Operations

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about Facebook's video products and our mission, and is relentless in finding smarter, better, faster ways of getting things done. The ideal candidate has experience driving large and complex projects or programs, and can lead discussions with cross-functional teams across the company. This individual will serve as the voice of media publishers internally, working directly with Product Managers, Engineers, Legal, Policy, Partner Managers, Intellectual Property and Community Operations to ensure an amazing support experience for our partners.
This individual will spend at least 50% of his or her time focused on our suite of Video products, including Watch, to ensure that its users have access to exceptional support experiences and that the team is in lock step with Facebook’s Product, Policy, Legal, Policy, and Partnerships teams. This is a full-time position located in Menlo Park, California.


  • Become an expert in the support experience for media companies and emerging creators on Facebook, and in funded content program requirements, specifically as it relates to video
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Media Operations, joining recurring Watch and Video Integrity team meetings and maintaining expertise in Facebook product experiences for partners
  • Develop scaled solutions, specifically for video products, that address publishers' and creators' Facebook experiences and product opportunities
  • Collaborate with Product, Legal, Policy, Partner Managers, other Operations teams, and partners to create exceptional support experiences
  • Understand policies and risks with the ability to effectively translate them into sound processes or communications
  • Create strategic solutions for tracking, quality, and enforcement models for emerging funded content programs
  • Analyze creator interaction with our video products, and communicate insights to Product Management, Engineering, Partnerships, Marketing, and other partners within the company
  • Drive product adoption and usage by supporting partner facing programs and effective product launch support
  • BA or BS Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in online operations, product management, consulting, partnerships or account management
  • Analytical and problem solving experience
  • Experience defining, developing, and leading programs
  • Knowledge of digital video business models and solutions
  • Knowledge of how the content distribution landscape is changing
  • Relationship management experience and experience working within a global organization
  • Experience with identifying, utilizing and communicating performance metrics
  • Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
  • Proven experience influencing others without having positional authority
  • Knowledge of Facebook's video product suite
  • 2+ years spent working in the internet technology, media-entertainment, or digital marketing space
  • Experience with video content consumption products or platforms
