Program Manager, Planning Tools (Anaplan)

The Planning Tools team helps businesses support and improve tool satisfaction for our people. We focus on process controls, training programs, best practices, and design improvements which keep adding value to existing processes, Sales Operations and cross-function workstreams. We integrate Business Planning to ensure the stability and scalability of the platform, to be used as a foundation to unify approaches and systems.


  • Own all tactical, day-to-day running of all Anaplan related operations
  • Owner of deliverables according to the implementation roadmap
  • Manage a build team
  • Centralized management of model implementation, enhancement and process and controls around Anaplan including Ecosystem user access management
  • Alignment of system processes with broader business processes
  • Ensure cohesion between models with a focus on UX Consistency
  • Responsible for the co-development and dissemination of best practices with CoE Leads
  • Responsible for the co-development of automated Data flows with SalesApps
  • Enablement for federated builders and users including initial ramp and ongoing support
  • Responsible for maintaining partnerships with cross-functional orgs to expand the ecosystem beyond GMS Operation
  • Responsible for running of weekly, bi-weekly, monthly meetings
  • Communicate impact, challenges, roadblocks, insights effectively and concisely to appropriate audiences, including stakeholders
  • Identify and implement process improvements and technological innovations
  • Ensure strong reporting capability on performance, understanding and communicating the story through a robust set of metrics and data visualization
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with Anaplan modeling
  • Experience with large scale, hub-centric multi-model deployments
  • Agile project management experience with experience to gathering and prioritizing requirements and adjusting to changes
  • Interpersonal experience with experience managing a team of 3+ builders
  • Demonstrated experience defining and tracking support metrics and implementing programs to improve operational performance
  • Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving experience
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and driving initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience managing projects and stakeholders
  • Communication experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA
  • Completed Solution Architect training, sales use cases
