Program Manager, Global Outsourcing

Facebook is seeking an experienced Outsourcing Program Manager to build and run outsourced programs, and to manage vendor relationships on behalf of our Ads & Marketing organizations. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse group of internal teams and drive significant impact toward our ongoing company growth.

Ideal candidates will have outsourcing vendor management and consulting experience in the outsourcing or technology industries, with excellent communication and project management skills. This position is based at Facebook's offices in Austin (TX), and support programs globally, which will require traveling in country and internationally.


  • Serve as a consultant to our Ads & Integrity teams by developing customized and scalable outsourcing solutions
  • Strategically manage a portfolio of programs by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and third-party vendors to achieve short-term and long-term objectives
  • Guide the vendor selection process and conduct commercial negotiations
  • Drive legal, financial, technological aspects of outsourced programs
  • Ensure program success through strong performance management and governance methodologies
  • Manage complex vendor relationships
  • Prioritize and deliver timely, high quality work
  • Ability to travel in the US and internationally
  • 5+ years of outsourcing experience
  • Project management experience including planning, development, execution, measurement, and optimization
  • Experience with presentation and communication with peers, management, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience working and building relationships with cross-functional groups and third parties
  • Experience breaking down cost models and knowledge with the drivers of ROI in an outsourced model
  • Knowledge of legal, financial and technology components of outsourcing
  • Experience working in a global remote team
  • Experience in a technology or consumer-oriented environment
  • Experience in a business process outsourcing consulting or program management role
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
