Program Manager, Developer Programs, Content

Facebook is seeking an experienced Program Manager who is passionate about the way Facebook can work with startups and developers to drive real-world outcomes. You will focus on working with internal teams at Facebook as well as external partners to collate and develop content that will improve the learning experiences of the developers and startups that make up our developer program communities. In addition, you will work cross-functionally with the Policy, Legal, Marketing and Operations teams to help startups and our partners succeed. This role is based in Menlo Park.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help drive and execute the content strategy for Developer Circles and FbStart
  • Create, maintain and execute a content calendar for Developer Circles and FbStart online and offline programs
  • Maintain direct and active relationships with startups and developers on our platform, to gather feedback on how to improve their learning experience in both programs
  • Engage with external content partners
  • Author engaging developer-facing communication such as social posts, guides, keynote presentations and more
  • Set, track, analyze, communicate, and execute against key program performance metrics
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, business development, partnerships, legal and marketing launch develop, curate and deploy content to Developer Circles and FbStart communities
  • Willingness and ability to travel 25-50% of the time
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA or BS Degree
  • 5+ years experience in program management, partner management, or equivalent work experience
  • Software development with experience building software developed in (at least one) Python, Node.js, PHP, C/C++, Ruby, C#, or Java
  • 1+ years of experience using SQL or equivalent and Excel
  • 1+ years experience in engaging with the developer and/or startup community
  • Developer and/or startup event organizing experience
  • Presentation experience
  • Experience translating developer and startup needs into strategic plans and vice versa
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience
  • Proven track record of launching, leading and scaling programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills - with the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Facebook
  • Displaying the highest personal integrity and ethics
  • Fluency in English, any other languages
