Program Manager, Consumer Marketing Strategy & Operations

To help us accomplish this, the Consumer Marketing Strategy & Operations team (MS&O) is seeking a Strategy & Operations Program Manager to work across the office of the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the Facebook Family of Apps. S/he is a key business partner who functions like a Chief of Staff to the Consumer Marketing Organization. This person will assist with project management, operations and communications for the CMO, contribute to strategic projects and programs as part of the Marketing Strategy & Operations (MS&O) team, project manage initiatives across the Marketing Leadership Team (MLT), and play point for the CMO's meetings, speeches, and presentations. This is a full-time position based in Menlo Park, reporting into the Strategic Initiatives & Accountability Lead.

PROGRAM MANAGER, CONSUMER MARKETING STRATEGY & OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the CMO in major and key meetings/touchpoints related to ongoing business and initiatives
  • Prepare briefings for meetings with partners (e.g., identify goals and talking points, provide background on attendees, etc.)
  • Build key documents and presentations as needed
  • Build agendas, ensure right participants, help facilitate and follow-up on action items for key meetings as needed
  • Partner with Executive Admin, Internal & External Communications, Marketing Leads to manage air-traffic control around an integrated communications calendar
  • Assist on various ongoing strategic initiatives
  • Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional teams, serving as the first point of contact for CMO-related requests, inquiries, and action items
  • Ensure the Chief Marketing Officer follows up on necessary action items coming out of executive or leadership meetings
  • Partner with our communications team to provide content and context for org-wide touchpoints & leadership processes including internal communications (Q&A, All-Hands, posts and emails)
  • Exercise discretion at all times
  • Travel 10-20% of the time
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree
  • 4+ years project management, strategy consulting, and/or strategic communications experience
  • Experience building presentations in PowerPoint and/or Keynote and briefing materials
  • Experience handling confidential information
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA
  • Management consulting experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects
  • Experience working effectively with people of all levels, including executive and C-suite level, both within and outside of Facebook
  • Able to shift priorities quickly and to act proactively, while maintaining organization and control
  • Flexibility to juggle a range of tasks and to work extra hours as needed
  • Understanding the importance of confidentiality and using discretion
