Product Marketing Manager, Identity Solutions

Facebook is seeking a leader who is knowledgeable and passionate about identity and authentication. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing identity solutions at a fast-paced company. We are looking for an individual who can communicate how and why our variety of products can provide meaningful value to developers, businesses, and consumers. He or she must be driven and have a relentless focus on growing and bringing awareness to Facebook's developer/business tools and services. This person understands different market dynamics, competitive landscape, industry trends, and how to positively impact business and consumer sentiment and drive new behavior around authentication. He or she must have experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and exhibit excellent skills in brand building, product positioning, and creative marketing. The ideal candidate will be analytical and display strong communication and organizational skills. This is a full-time position based at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park.

Responsibilities

  • Build awareness and user sentiment for our developer-facing identity solutions and lead privacy sensitive marketing communication
  • Develop a strong narrative around our identity solutions, and author consumer and developer-facing communication such as blog posts, guides, keynote presentations
  • Host internal training sessions and provide direction on positioning authentication solutions such as Login and Account Kit
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader Facebook ecosystem, competitive landscape, and mobile app industry needs to develop and execute go-to-market plans for identity products – from positioning and product-market fit to market assessment and quantitative analysis
  • Represent the voice of developers and businesses with Product Management and Engineering, planning and leading successful feature launches and programs to drive product adoption
  • Manage and work with cross-functional teams (including PR, design, product and engineering stakeholders) to deliver world-class marketing communications
  • Coordinate and plan sessions for F8, Facebook's annual developer conference – handling materials, schedule, and marketing communications for identity products

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years professional experience in Marketing or Product Management in Internet and/or technology
  • Understanding of web/mobile apps developer and industry landscape
  • Ability to identify and adapt to trends in the marketplace
  • Experience partnering with Product Management and Engineering organizations
  • Experience communicating to a variety of audiences, including technical, business, and consumer
  • Analytical skills, communication and time management
  • Ability to communicate large-scale concepts
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically with an attention to detail and proven project management skills
  • Experience in a start-up environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Management Consulting and/or technical background
