Product Marketing Manager - Content, Facebook Analytics

Facebook is looking for an experienced marketer and writer to drive the content marketing efforts for Facebook Analytics. Someone who's a great storyteller and can create unique, compelling content for driving awareness, engagement, and ultimately product growth. Ideal candidates should have a strong understanding of content marketing strategy, be metrics-driven, and have experience managing editorial calendars, and writing and distributing content. For this position, it's also essential to be up-to-date with new technologies and marketing trends. This position will be in our Menlo Park location.


  • Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets
  • Collaborate with marketing, product and design to produce high quality content including blog posts, white papers, decks, walk-through videos, messaging, and internal partner / sales training on a regular basis
  • Develop and manage an editorial calendar and style guide, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Measure and report on effectiveness of content initiatives to inform editorial calendar and identify new opportunities
  • Edit, proofread and improve content
  • Work cross-functionally (across research, marketing, product, design and other teams) to develop, distribute and optimize content for SEO and content marketing programs

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years professional experience in a content role in marketing, advertising or digital
  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
  • Understanding of web publishing requirements
  • Experience in social media platforms
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically with an attention to detail and proven project management skills
  • Communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts in a straightforward, engaging way
  • Experience in a start-up environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
  • Deep understanding or experience with analytics tools and growth strategies
  • Have experience as a blogger or journalist
