We're looking for an experienced manager to lead the Community Growth Product Marketing team. The Community Growth team builds products to help all people on the internet connect to the Facebook community. The barriers we address and solutions we bring to the table are exciting and broad; including photo safety tools for women in emerging markets and creating a great experience for constrained devices and networks. The Community Growth marketing team is responsible for all elements of marketing in key markets and globally. This includes championing marketing strategy, crafting product narratives, advising product and other cross-functional teams, informing product strategy and messaging with insights, and driving go-to-market planning and execution. Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and champion marketing strategy including setting objectives, goals, audience definition, strategy plans, and measurement
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative insights to inform marketing plans and execution
  • Plan and manage successful marketing campaigns and programs across multiple channels, including Facebook ads and events, to raise awareness of Community Growth products
  • Support marketing efforts through activities such as asset creation (still, animated, and/or video), competitive analysis, and product launch planning (messaging and asset development)
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product, internal creative studio, external creative agencies, PR, partnerships, media planning, and analytics stakeholders)
  • Manage, lead and develop team
  • Manage multiple stakeholder approvals, including legal, privacy, communications planning, and policy
  • Be willing and able to flex between strategic and tactical/execution responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, brand management, and/or direct response marketing
  • Global marketing experience with demonstrated knowledge for local nuances
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience with a results-oriented mindset
  • Strategic thinker and experience developing a strategic vision and articulate across a set of audiences
  • Experience with end-to-end, multi-channel marketing campaigns and programs, including Facebook ads, leading strategy, creative development, media planning, experiment/measurement design, and post-campaign analysis and reporting
  • Experience quarterbacking go-to-market planning and execution for product launches
  • Global marketing experience, including managing product launches and marketing campaigns across several markets
  • Drafting experience to draft content for marketing assets and develop creative briefs
  • Experience synthesizing information and translating complex topics into simple and intuitive communications
  • Building teams and relationships across cross-functional teams, including experience working with engineering-driven, Product Management stakeholders

  • MBA
  • Experience marketing new products and defining the category
  • Strategy consulting experience
