Product Marketing Manager, Brand Video

Facebook is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for the Brand Video Product Marketing team to help bring next generation video advertising products to market. The Product Marketing team is responsible for developing product strategy and executing against global launch plans to bring new advertising products to market. This role in the Brand Video product marketing team will focus on developing new video advertising products that meet the needs of the advertising community and helping to drive better brand ads across Facebook and the Facebook family of products. The successful candidate must have experience and knowledge of business strategy and product development. Ideally the candidate will have brand advertising, video, or product marketing experience and/or preferably worked closely with creative agencies and media agencies. He or she must have experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams across the company to drive results. Additionally, he or she must be data-driven and knowledgeable about the needs of brand advertisers. This role will be full-time, based in our Menlo Park office.


  • Lead market assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the voice of the market and customers internally with Product Management and Engineering
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the broader Facebook ecosystem and competitive landscape to develop strategic product feedback and positioning
  • Lead market segmentation efforts to prioritize overall opportunities for brand marketing products
  • Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to drive product alpha and beta programs and launches for advertising and agency clients, globally
  • Partner with Product Management and outbound marketing to lead world-class product marketing communications for new brand products
  • Communicate the value proposition of new products to all go-to-market teams and ensure that sales support materials and packages are created
  • Drive product adoption and usage rates by supporting market facing programs and effective product launch support
  • BA/BS degree
  • 6+ years experience in a corporate or startup environment
  • 2+ years experience working on products at (or for) startups/technology companies/media agencies or/in online advertising
  • 2+ years experience working in a product manager or product marketing capacity
  • Previous background in digital video and/or television advertising
  • Quantitative analytical ability
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate large-scale concepts
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
  • MBA
  • Experience with Video Advertising
  • Knowledge of brands in key verticals including CPG, Retail, Entertainment
