We're currently live in India, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, and Indonesia, and will be expanding elsewhere in Africa as well as in Asia Pacific and Latin America soon.Facebook Product Managers work with teams of engineers, designers and product analysts to build products. We are looking for extremely entrepreneurial Product Managers to help innovate and execute product initiatives across the company. As the Tools & Scaling Product Manager on the Express Wi-Fi team, you will be a key player in the process of defining, designing and executing both the tools that help Express Wi-Fi partners plan, deploy, commission, and operate large scale Wi-Fi networks as well as the tools and internal mechanisms that help Facebook scale the number of partners launching Express Wi-Fi globally. For Tools, you will focus on the end-to-end lifecycle of partner operations, as well as the individual lifecycle of deployments and hotspots themselves. Your team will develop tools for network planning, deployment and hotspot pipeline management, ticketing, configuration tools, monitoring and workflow tools, etc. On Scaling, you will focus on large mobile network operators and ISPs, building the maturity and depth of our integrations into their back-end systems (e.g. OSS< BSS). You will work with our engineering teams in Tel Aviv and Menlo Park.This position is full-time and based in our Tel Aviv office. Travel to field deployments as well as Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park will be common.


  • development, and launch of innovative products for the end-to-end lifecycle of Wi-Fi network design, deployment, operation, and support
  • Lead similar efforts for the internal tools and scaling processes that Facebook will use to integrate with systems such as Operational Support Systems (OSS) and Billing Support Systems (BSS) at mobile network operators and large-scale ISPs
  • Establish shared vision across the team by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers
  • Integrate vendor and partner market studies, usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Understand Facebook's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
  • Contribute to the overall maturity of deployment and other processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in deploying Wi-Fi and other communications networks in emerging markets
  • 3+ years product management or engineering lead experience, ideally including delivery of entire products start to finish
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Technical knowledge of network architecture, OSI network model, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi
  • Familiarity with A/A/A schemes, including RADIUS, 802.1X, etc., and carrier-grade Wi-Fi technologies such as EAP-SIM and EAP-TTLS
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications and/or media products
  • Experience developing network-focused platforms, management tools, or hardware products
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Fluent English
