Performance Marketing Manager, Platform

Facebook is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager who is passionate about connecting with the developer ecosystem, and helping early stage developers, businesses and large developers grow with our platform. The ideal candidate is well-versed in campaign management and proficient in Marketo and Salesforce.com. This role will involve growing adoption and scaling our platform's products by reaching out to the community to gain deeper insights that will help shape strategies and execution. The ideal candidate will be a strong self-starter, comfortable with planning, creating, and building content workflows, as well as strategic thinking on how we implement measurable lifecycle marketing to the broader global developer ecosystem. This position is full-time and based in our main office in Menlo Park, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Facebook online marketing efforts to the broader developer community through Marketo campaigns and media programs to the broader developer community
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader startup and developer ecosystem to manage strategic campaigns that provide value to this community while promoting the Facebook Platform
  • Manage multiple integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with our PMM team
  • Understand the developer funnel, churn analysis, develop lead modeling and LTV analysis
  • Help build strategic plans around content marketing via online campaigns and media initiatives that offer valuable resources to our developer ecosystem
  • Proactively optimize performance by tracking campaign results and adapting strategies
  • Implement sophisticated awareness campaigns and programs to drive impact and product adoption
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills through advanced campaign performance tracking and share results with executive management
  • Build best practices around campaign management and how to scale online marketing efforts across Facebook's developer segmentation

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years professional experience in a corporate, startup or developer environment
  • Experience with digital media, partnerships, marketing, development, and startups
  • Knows how to use Marketo, Salesforce.com, email automation, group help-outs and conduct online events
  • Group leadership experience
  • Experience launching or scaling business initiatives with international teams/agencies or launching campaigns in emerging markets
  • Ability to travel – at least 25%
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized

  • MBA
  • Fast-paced start-up environment with little supervision
