The Global People Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Leading with care and empathy, we develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. We deliver data that is useful and accurate to create People-related strategies across the business. We manage people knowledge and build project management capability across our company. Our work also ensures Facebook remains protected and compliant. We strive to ensure employees feel heard and given the resources and support they need during the most important moments during their careers.We are looking for an Operations Program Manager who can help us transition services, scale existing processes and technology and manage day to day vendor operations. We need someone with expertise in this area who can thrive managing multiple projects and working with a global team to drive improvements. We are looking for someone who enjoys building and figuring out the best way to do things and to be able to communicate and work with the rest of the team to achieve this.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects to improve our employee lifecycle operations and ensuring resolution, day to day support and full implementation of new and existing services/processes
  • Develop and drive the framework to intake potential new services, assessment of resourcing across internal teams and outsourced vendor
  • Co-build project roadmap to support long-term delivery goals with People Services leads.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate system, process, and policy issues with internal business partners and vendors to make sure those are incorporated into services, policies and processes within People Services
  • Leverage data to build compelling business cases analyzing opportunities for cost optimization and quality assurance
  • Leverage best practices from industry in influencing and driving operational improvements.
  • Make recommendations from the People Services perspective on program changes and conduct cost/benefit analysis of potential improvements to process, technology, training, and more.
  • Manage contracts with vendors including negotiating contracts, setting service level agreements and managing performance and escalations
  • Facilitate regular operational quarterly business review meetings

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree on Business Administration or Bachelor's in Science
  • 4+ years of experience managing large scale, cross-functional projects
  • Experience working through ambiguity and uncertainty in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment
  • Project management and process improvement skills
  • Time management, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects
  • Self-directed and possess communication skills
  • Ability to work across various levels of the organization, while building trust and fostering collaboration
  • Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of a shared service environment
  • Lean Six sigma knowledge.
  • Experience managing an outsourced vendor relationship
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
