People Services Accommodations Leader

Facebook is seeking a People Services Accommodations Leader. A successful candidate will serve as the primary adviser to the organization, and provide strategic advice to leaders in the area of reasonable accommodations. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting candidates and employees while also consulting with cross-functional partners on reasonable accommodations and leave related issues. The ideal candidate will have deep subject matter expertise, strong initiative with the ability to think critically, willingness to collaborate with our cross-functional partners and be able to prioritize while maintaining a high-level of confidentiality in an extremely fast-paced environment. The person in this role will assist in identifying trends, process improvements while ensuring a high touch candidate and employee experience. As a thought leader, this position will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders, internal and external partners to ensure the program is successful.


  • Provide consultation and coaching regarding accommodation matters to HR partners, managers, and employees
  • Own the accommodations program design and analysis of pertinent data to drive and influence change
  • Administer, develop, coordinate, and review reasonable accommodations policies and procedures
  • Partner collaboratively with internal HR/ER and Legal stakeholder inquiries around the reasonable accommodations and leave processes, polices and issues
  • Consult on accommodation program, options and relevant ADA, disability and leave knowledge as well as risk mitigation
  • Identify continuous program and process improvements by leveraging best practices from the industry to influence and drive operational improvements
  • Strategically develop and deliver training and communications for the accommodations process to managers and employees
  • Point of contact for governance/compliance/audit activities including business continuity
  • Utilize medical information to assist with identifying and implementing reasonable accommodations through the interactive process
  • Participate in internal investigations related to accommodation claims
  • Assist with human resource and benefit compliance-related projects
  • Perform end-to-end case management of inquires through our internal case management tool
  • Respond to employee and internal partner inquiries within defined SLAs leveraging CRM ticketing system for tracking and measurement
  • Partner with content team for updates to program on HR portal
  • 10+ years’ experience in leave and/or accommodation administration working directly with front line managers, leaders and employees
  • Knowledge of Federal and State disability laws regarding access for employees with disabilities, such as ADA/ADAA and FMLA
  • Experience building relationships and influencing others while working cross-functionally
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities
