Facebook is seeking to grow its Sports Partner Services team within the larger Sports Partnerships organization. The Sports Partnerships team at Facebook works closely with the leading content creators in the world, including leagues, teams, media, journalists and athletes. This is a unique opportunity to execute on a strategy designed to support sports publishers through product expertise, data and insights in order to help them reach their objectives on and off Facebook platforms. This individual will have a focus on our Rights Manager product and copyright protection, to scale outreach and education to the larger sports ecosystem on Facebook. This role will work closely with Strategic Partnership Managers (SPMs) in engaging with top strategic partners, including product education and partner analysis. Besides external partners and the SPM team, this role will also interface and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Partner Product Marketing, Media Operations, Intellectual Property Operations and Partner Engineering teams.


  • Specialize in Rights Manager – closely interacting with related cross-functional teams and be the key go-to person for the sports vertical
  • Own the Rights Manager onboarding process for sports partners and provide follow-up support
  • Identify and maintain calendar of high priority sports events
  • Research rights structure and ownership of key sports events
  • Provide high touch support and timely solutions to build long term relationships and trust across the sports partner ecosystem
  • Support SPMs in resolving IP-related escalations
  • Conduct data and insights analysis for external partners
  • Leverage data to identify vertical and partner-level opportunities
  • Support scaled partner education and communication efforts

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • 4+ years of experience in account management, operations and/or project management
  • Understanding of the sports industry and sports publisher ecosystem on Facebook
  • Track record of operating independently, being detail-oriented, and delivering results
  • Able to work both independently, and also as a team with relevant SPMs
  • Experience working with data and drawing insights from data
  • Ability to multi-task, working on different projects and with different partners simultaneously
  • Communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with digital rights management products
  • Understanding of the sports rights landscape
  • Understanding of the sports industry and sports publisher ecosystem on Facebook
