Organic Distribution Manager, Media Partnerships

Facebook Watch is the home for video on Facebook and we are seeking an experienced distribution strategist, who will be responsible for the growth and sustained success of video on the platform. This person will have a deep understanding of inventory structure, platform features, and monetization efficiency. Using those skills, this person will drive collaboration between teams to evaluate on platform distribution and monetization product features and success factors and drive best practices to support video on Facebook.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify best practices to grow effective video distribution on FB Watch
  • Implement on-platform distribution strategies to grow viewership, engagement and monetization on new video opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong internal relationships with key stakeholders in Product, Partnerships, Analytics and Marketing, in collaboration with the Content Strategy and Planning team
  • Be a source of insights on practices for video distribution specific to the Watch product
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA or BS Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in inventory and yield management for an ad agency, publisher or related position
  • Experience working with content creators and distributors
  • Experience collaborating and leading across teams in a cross-functional work setting
  • Knowledge of Facebook products and performance metrics
  • Experience with structural process analysis and problem-solving experience
  • Communication and presentation experience, and experience in clarifying and summarizing issues
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and digital publishing business
  • Experience defining, developing and leading programs
  • Collaboration and relationship-building experience
