The Infrastructure Support & Operations Services (ISOS) team designs, implements and continuously evolves systems and processes to support all aspects of the Data Center Operations function. In order to meet this need, the ISOS team provides Program Management Oversight of critical operational initiatives.We are seeking a passionate Operations Program Manager to plan and coordinate all activities around turnup execution program within our Data Centers. This role will be looked at to organize various internal and external components, in order to successfully drive projects to a conclusion.The position is based in our main office in Menlo Park, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on cross-functional infrastructure projects in a matrix organization with an emphasis on turnups
  • Interface with Capacity Planning team, Service Owners, production/software engineers, capacity planning and data center teams to define project requirements and scope
  • Manage expectations of all interested parties – define clear projects with key deliverable and milestone dates
  • Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery. Provide day-to-day coordination for projects and tasks
  • Identify and communicate risks and adjustments to the overall program
  • Define and document the end-to-end business processes used today and identify where and how tooling solutions will aid with streamlining and scaling the process
  • Maintain program status pages and provide frequent program updates for stakeholder communication and engagement Identify and communicate risks and adjustments to the overall program
  • Drive towards problem resolution despite ambiguity or uncertainty
  • Build relationships, gain consensus, remove tension/roadblocks and focus on the solution
  • Travel will be required (including international travel)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, or related field
  • 5+ years work experience in Project Management with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value using technology solutions in high-tech operations space
  • Data center industry knowledge and experience in Infrastructure
  • Proven project management, inter-personal, and communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Project management experience in building scalable, enterprise tooling initiatives, defining roadmaps and translating strategic initiatives into tactical, objective programs
  • Ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies, in order to accomplish all necessary tasks
  • Ability to walk the line between business and technology
  • Analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills with a focus under pressure
  • Be independent in examination and analysis, alongside results oriented
  • Organizational and time management skills, with proven ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously
